As opposed to the singles, the team event was redrawn as a quarter of the original entries couldn't make the new date.
Having gone 3-1 down in our first match against Preston Piranhas, we didn't lose another frame to win 8-3. We also breezed through our second match v Norfolk Broads 8-5 to top the group and head into the last 16. Tolworth Tigers were our opponents and we squeezed by them in a thrilling 3 man play-off which we won on the decider, and met South Yorkshire in the quarter finals. They have some class players but we matched them leg for leg and once again had to play-off for the semi final spot. My opponent broke & dished me, and Nicky was beaten before Sarah could finish so unfortunately we went out, but South Yorks went on the win the tournament so well done to them.
It was a great atmosphere and we had a good team spirit, we'll be back in November challenging for the title!
