Plate: (R2) Winner Lyndsey Roberts, Runner-up Amy Coley
Given my dip in form of late, I was quite happy with my improved performance this weekend. I was up against 6th seed Liesa Conlin in round one. I got off to a shaky start but took a few good frames off the England player, losing 5-3.
Lindsay Lloyd was my first round plate opponent, I knew she was a good potter and I would have to pot well myself. I took confidence from the mornings match and won 4-2!
Unfortunately I lost in the second round to Lyndsey Roberts 4-2 but was still happy with my performance overall. Lyndz went on to win the plate so well done to her!
The next tour is at Hull in September where I will be playing a friend of mine, Rebecca Osborne, in the 11 o'clock session.
