The goal for the ladies today was to win by a good margin against an improving Derbyshire side. They held their own to draw level at six all, however we took the second leg 9-2 and didn't look back. It was a solid team performance, despite the tables at the new venue not being in the best condition!
Julie Tailby won maximum 4 frames from 4 and the lady of the match award, with Chris Kirk, Charlene Gibson, Carolyn Bowkett and Sam Biddlecombe all taking 3 from 4.
I also won 3/4 and although I should have had my last frame as well after wobbling the black in the pocket, I am happy to get back to winning ways!
