As far as the result goes this was a very disappointing day for us. We really needed a result from this match but were well beaten in the end. It was very close all the way through until the end of the 3rd round when we seemed to fall behind, which we have been doing consistently just lately. Second spot is slipping out of our hands fast and we desperately need to bounce back with a good result against Derbyshire next month.
On a personal level, this match was my best performance of the season so far, beating Notts 2 England players, Tara & Debbie! I was really pleased with how I played, I did drop one frame to get 3/4 but I landed player of the match and have gone joint top in the LCPA rankings with Sarah, and I'm in the top 5 in the region!
